(The truth about "ADHD" and other "Disruptive Behavior Disorders")
This 32-page booklet is the author’s response to parents' concerns about what to do when the schools label a child as a problem, especially when there is pressure to drug a child for so-called Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Dr. Breeding views the mass drugging of school-age children in our society as a national shame and disgrace.
"The Wildest Colts..." is divided into three sections.
- RECOGNITION - outlines important information that parents need to recognize about what is really going down when there is pressure to drug a child for so-called ADHD. We want to remind parents of essential truths that are too easily forgotten in the face of such stressful pressure. Remembering the completely good inherent nature of your child, remembering to never give up and to keep thinking well about your child are some of the topics covered in this section. Most important is to always come back to a place where you see your child through the "Eyes of Delight."
- WHAT ELSE TO DO - discusses specific ideas and actions that might be helpful in responding to the needs of a child caught In this kind of situation.
